DERIVA NOCTURNA

2018

‘[T]he escape of daily roles and responsibilities is to enter the melding city,
slowly but perceptibly shifting its composition and character in the play of the shadows’
(Dunn 2016: 31).

The photo series DERIVA NOCTURNA explores the city at night as a place and time of escape from the confines of the increasingly frantic daytime activities. Her undertaking surfaced as refuge just as much as a method to uncover the fissures and boundaries of the city.
